2017 marked another milestone in Asa's career releasing his 5th independent album 'The Heat and the Rain' recorded at Airlock Studios in Samford, Qld with renown local engineer and producer; Yanto Browning. The Track 'Can't Be Trusted' from the album was selected as a Finalist in the International Songwriting Competition Blues Category.
On stage, Asa's powerful guitar driven songs and dynamic live show has taken him from clubs and festivals all over Australia (Woodford Folk Festival, Queenscliff Music Festival, Blues on Broadbeach, Gympie Muster, Mullum Music Festival, Caloundra Music Festival, Australian Blues Festival, Noosa Festival of Surfing, Sydney Blues and Roots Festival and more....) to touring with national and international artists (including Diesel, Hoodoo Gurus, Ian Moss, Chris Whitley, Jimmy Barnes, Jake Clemons (E-Street Band), The Black Sorrows, Ash Grunwald, Chris Smither, Mark Seymour, Jeff Martin, Busby Marou, The Angels, Kelly Joe Phelps, Pete Murray and more...) and regularly performing in the UK, USA and Canada.
